xx How Grading Will Work
« Thread started on: Feb 9th, 2004, 12:04am »

Alright, I'm going to try and make this as simple as possible. Please don't post a new topic for a student if the student already has one up.

Only Professors are allowed to post in this board.

Step 1: Topic Title
-In the topic title, you put the students first and last name, in the description you put their house.

Step 2: The Post
-Below is the format you should put your post...

Name (Full Name):
Year:
House:

Class:
Professor:

Mark:
Missed Assignments:
Total Assignments:

Grading System:
-There will be three different styles for grades, you will be expected to use all three in your marks.

Percentage

A's, B's and C's

O's, E's, and S's

-91% or higher=A*=O (Outstanding)
-86%-90%=A=O
-76% to 85%=B=E (Exceds expectations)
-71% to 75%=C=E
-61%-70%=D=A (Acceptable)
-51%-60%=E=A
-50% or lower=F=P (Poor), D (Dreadful), T(Terrible/Troll)

Example:

Name (Full Name): Harold Grey
Year: 2nd
House: Hufflepuff

Class:Transfiguration
Professor: Percy Weasly

Mark: 70%, D, A (acceptable)
Missed Assignments: 0
Total Assignments: 3
